 Identity Photoshop Poster

This is the identity poster that I've made using Photoshop, I used the photos that we took at the University of Westminster and combined them based on my own experiences with the people who are a part of this identity poster. I used Photoshop to remove the background of the photos so that I could replace them with different landscapes later on.

I went for a more GTA cover theme style when creating this as I love the aesthetics of GTA Covers. I used different landscapes that suit each individual person in this poster. I then placed them in different layers so that the landscapes wouldn't interface with one another, I used the rectangle tool for the frames which I designed and placed them more creatively and cleanly for better visuals, and cleaned up the edges with the lasso tool so that the landscapes fit in each rectangle frame. Later on, I added our photos to the corresponding landscapes and adjusted the lighting of our portraits so that the landscape matched our portraits for a more realistic approach. Then finally I added a title that says "IDENTITY" as a representation of what the poster is about.

The GTA Cover I got inspiration from:

I really enjoyed making this poster and I got the chance to adapt my Photoshop skills even further. I hope in the future to make more stuff like this.

Photoshop Experimentation

This is a workpiece that I've made in Photoshop, It was my own photo of an angel from which I removed the background and placed the angel on a higher layer, on the bottom layers I used the rectangle tool and stretched them out so that it fills the whole background, I then made several rectangles like this and positioned them in a fancy way so that the background looks appealing to the eye. I then saturated the angel in a different colour of my choice and placed the angel where I wanted it to be. Finally, I used the pen tool to outline the angel and I used the opacity tool to trace on top of the outline to give the illusion of blurriness. I also used the pen tool to place dots for the background and I dotted the angel's eyes with a pink shade of colour.

I've gotten inspiration from Max Hubert, a famous graphic designer who designed a poster in which I've gained massive inspiration. The poster below is where I've gotten inspired from, mainly the background as it looks slick and clean, and I tried using the same tactics in my own poster.

FMP poster Experimentation

This is my FMP Poster mockup that I experimented with using Illustrator. The poster is not finished but I took a screenshot to share how I will plan my posters. I drew a portrait of some AI-generated face and then I colored the face with text which represents key elements that compose this person's identity that I made up.

I then shaded the words in the sentences that I used to create a more 3D look to the face, with shades ranging from dark grey all the way to white.

I've taken inspiration from an album cover that I came across while listening to music. The illustration below is an album cover used by a famous Romanian music artist nicknamed "Spike", the album is named "Lumea lui Paul" which translates to The World of Paul.

Poster Experimentation 2

I have also created this poster on Illustrator which looks pretty clean and eye-pleasing, I've gotten inspiration from ChungKong and implemented his style onto this poster. This is a good prototype of a poster as this can give me more ideas on what I should make for my final major projects.

I have used basic tools that Illustrator has such as the rectangle tool that I used for the background and the yellow buildings along with their windows, the pen tool for the illustration of the man and I also included multipcoloursors such as yellow and red that complement each other well, Finally, I included the title for the poster which seems fitting.

Experimentation Poster 3

For my last experiment made this poster in Illustrator by only using the pen tool and a free background image, I drew this person who is trying to find his identity. I think that this might be the poster that I'm going to get inspiration from when creating my Official poster.

Film Experimentation

I started working on my FMP Film and I just finished editing the first part of the film, which honestly looks very smooth and clean, I used creative camera angles to display an engaging perspective on the character, Most of the camera angles and shots in my FMP were inspired by years of watching films and TV series.

I used basic tools such as the cut tool, for cutting unwanted moments of certain scenes and the text tool so thatcouldcan credit everyone who helped in the making of this film. I am really proud of the outcome and I hope I can continue to finish the rest of the film like this.

For the filming, I used a basic Canon camera that the college provided me with, I did not use any other cameras or any other equipment that would have helped me enhance my filming experience. I had to zoom in or out depending on the camera shot, and I also had to adjust the brightness and the focus to make sure that the shot was perfect for my film, this was very easy for me to do, I managed to hold incredibly still to avoid camera shake when filming, and I managed to make every camera shot run smoothly with each other.

This is a screenshot of me working on colourising the film, I tried to fix all unwanted colouring by creating my own ambient lighting and using it throughout the film. I enjoyed editing this film as I got to step in behind the scenes and make something of my own.

FMP Film - Rough Cut

This is my rough cut of my FMP movie, this is only the first scene that I filmed and edited, the stowon'tont make sense yet as it is only the opening scene, as of nI am Im really glad how it turned out, I used different camera shots and angles to make the opening scene seem interesting, I tried to engage the viewers by using unique camera angles and shots to make them view the scene in a different perspective. I edited the credits in the opening scene to make the movie look more like an actual movie and I also edited out different moments from the shots that were unwanted and combined them to make one smooth continuous shot.

I am really proud of how this opening scene turned out and I have high hopes that my finished product will be coming out as planned.

The actors in this film were instructed to not wear their IDs around their necks to make this film look real, which happens to be against the college rules, although this instruction was only applied during filming, the actors within the film kept their IDs around their necks during off filming.
